When it comes to a topic of interest, their natural curiosity and investigative nature makes them a reliable go-to resource.

Line 1s are truth seekers.

They have inquisitive minds that feel called to get to the bottom of things.

They’re not into surface-level — they truly immerse themselves into their research and wait to share until they feel like an authority on a particular topic. This makes them reliable, foundational resources for their community.

Personal Growth & Discovery

Line 1s can have a deep discomfort with uncertainty and lack of preparation. Because of this, they need to create a supportive foundation in understanding to feel worthy of sharing a topic.

Their integrity around research is a beautiful thing, as long as it doesn’t become imposter syndrome (which can amplify if they have Gate 48 in their chart — its shadow is inadequacy).

They can work through this by applying the 10% rule: as long as they believe they know 10% more than the person they’re educating, they have enough research to share.

Also, working on reconditioning themselves to feel the wonder and mystery of uncertainty will help relieve tension in their physical and energetic body. It will also help them enjoy their natural curiosity rather than try to fulfill it immediately.

Line 1s are amazing contributions to any team. They’re reliable resources and naturally skilled to get to the bottom of things.

But in a fast-paced corporate role, they may not feel they have enough time to prepare before a meeting or presentation. It would be helpful for them to start preparation earlier than others.

As entrepreneurs, they need to set time limits for research and preparation so they don’t get lost down a rabbit hole of information.

Children with Line 1 in their profile may come across as insecure at times. But really, they’re feeling unprepared. It’s important to help them gather the information they need to create a secure foundation of knowledge.

They may also ask a lot of questions. Perfect! They’re living in alignment with the natural curiosity of their design.

Line 1s can sometimes come across a little skeptical but really they’re looking for details to understand the big picture.

Also, when it comes to determining whether or not they should spend time researching a topic, they should always turn to their Human Design Strategy (linked to their Energy Type) and Authority (reliable inner knowing). Otherwise, they may spend countless hours researching information that they don’t end up using.
